Kyrgystan - Lake Issyk & Karakol Photos

Driving from Almaty to Lake Issyk-Kul we crossed the border into Kyrgystan and see work on the “One Belt One Road” initiative funded by China

Our group of 12 were fortunate to have this spacious bus for our travels thru Kyrgystan driven by Sergei

Lake Issyk-Kul is the 7th deepest lake in the world

Beautiful & clear, it is the second largest salt lake after the Caspian Sea which is really a lake

Lake and resort both have the Ten Shen Mountains as a beautiful background
