Kasumigaike Pond in the Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa
Water from this fountain comes from the Kasumigaike Pond and works by natural pressure caused by the difference in the levels of the two ponds. Normally the fountain is 3.6 m high, but height changes depending in surface level of Kasumigaike and pond
Crossing bridge into the traditional village, Shirakawa-go
Lovely thatched homes in the village nestled between the mountains

View of village from the mountain
Harvest festival in Takamaya was called off because of rain, but we were able to see the beautiful floats in the Exhibition Hall that are carried in the parade.
Afternoon you see these floats you can understand why they don’t take them out in the rain
